Senior Technical Accountant
(Full-time Home-Based)
The Senior Technical Accountant will be responsible for carrying out expert technical accounting advice and guidance to multiple UAT clients regarding audit processes, implementing new changes, requirements and improvements.
This person must have an extensive background in Audit. Ideally, someone who has handled Senior up to Managerial level in the field of Audit. With experience working in Big 4 Audit firms. And with in-depth knowledge in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP)
- Execute and document opening balance sheet testing procedures, prepare PPA entries prepare acquisition memos, review integration period accounting
- Perform initial research and draft accounting position memos
- Perform detailed research and draft implementation memos
- Maintain a listing of accounting/finance policies, ensure timely updates and documentation
- Create bridge between facilities team and finance team in standardization of maintaining timely information and data updates, improve internal reporting process, perform data analysis, generate reports and prepare quarterly presentations
- Quarterly checklist updates and evidence gathering activities for accurate/complete accounting of new lease agreements and renewals, execute embedded lease review procedures
- Perform monthly, quarterly and year-end close activities based on team needs, assist with other recurring internal reporting packages/projects
- Make recommendations as needed with regard to policies and procedures
- Manage complex accounting topics including revenue recognition, foreign exchange forward contracts, and other ad-hoc complex transactions
- Manage and coordinate with executive management, business owners and legal to draft financial reports and footnote, and review results with key executives, audit committee and auditors
- Prepare technical accounting memos per US GAAP
- Provide guidance through potential IFRS related changes
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent required
- Certified Public Accountant
- With at least 10 years experience in Big 4 Audit firm/mid tier audit firms
- At least 5 years of audit senior up to managerial position
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP is required

Senior Auditor
(Full-time Home-Based)
- Add value through GAAP analysis of complex transactions including equity, complex debt agreements, leasing, revenue recognition, and business combinations
- Work along-side engagement teams and collaborate for work projects
- Strengthen client relationships and generate additional engagement opportunities through excellent quality, timely execution and strategic approach to service delivery
- Add value to clients to successfully prepare and complete audits
- Add value to public and private clients by assisting in the following: Detailed revenue analysis and revenue recognition; Equity – stock compensation (FAS 123R, warrant accounting) and EPS; Draft or review complex sets of financial statements with disclosures, SEC Reporting, including S-1, 10K, 10Q and other filings; Identification and application of technical accounting guidance to client situations, and/or Global accounting activities including IFRS, foreign currency and consolidations
- Understand complex FASB and SEC rules and regulations, client deadlines and deliverables, requests and preferences to deliver excellent client services

Paraplanner
(Full-time Home-Based)
- Coordinate regularly with the offshore paraplanning team/client.
- Construct complex and comprehensive Statements of Advice (SOAs) for both new and existing clients with the use of X-Plan.
- Attend meetings with clients alongside the Financial Advisers to assist in presentation of SOAs.
- Prepare and ensure accuracy of compliance paperwork
- Identify and obtain any necessary information to compile financial cash flow forecast
- Manage and create client portfolios
- Undertake research independently or with the help of the help of the Financial Planner to identify suitable solutions to meet the client’s need
- Prepare and discuss draft recommendation reports with the Financial Planner
- Complete application and proposal forms
- Implement the chosen investment strategies
- With at least 2 years of related years of experience working in an Australian environment
- RG146 accreditation is preferred
- With experience in XPLAN
- Advance MS Office proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Extensive knowledge and experience in inputting client portfolios, modelling and product comparison tools
- With experience in Risk Portfolios
- In-depth understanding of financial planning and technical knowledge
- With experience in the requirements of Statement of Advice (SOA)
- Must have the ability to work independently

General bookkeeping with NR, fixed assets and balance sheet reconciliations, including banking payroll and journal entry posting.

Sales Account Manager

The Sales Account Manager will actively seek new sales opportunities from prospective clients and shall create long-term, trusting relationships with our new and existing clients. This person will collaborate with our business development team to achieve quotas while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with UAT’s products and services.
- Generate sales among prospective clients by proposing various services being offered by UAT such as, Accounting, Taxation, Audit, Business Advisory, Cash Flow Management, Controller Services, Paraplanning, Superannuation, Customer Service Support, Digital Marketing, Payroll Maintenance and Technical Services.
- Operates as the point of contact for assigned clients
- Overseeing client account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit
- Develops and maintains long-term relationships with clients
- Makes sure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion
- Communicates client needs and demands to employer company
- Manage projects within client relationships, working to carry out client goals while meeting company goals
